Putting
one last coat of plaster on the docking bay. I couldn't have
pictures online without at least one with Lucie :) At least if
I wasnted to stay alive - LOL. She was such a great help. I don't
know what i would have done if she had not offered to come to
Indianapolis with me. Thanks Lucie :)

Painting
the docking bay. Now doesn't this look awesome? Having the paint
splotched on is the key to making it look old, weatherd and a
Mos Eisley Space port :) It's looking really cool. I wish I could
have kept it myself ;P

Now that
Docking Bay 94 was taken care of, we still had a Cantina to make.
Jamie started cutting the base and assembled the walls based
on the Starlog Technical Journal Blueprint. This thing might
not look it in the photo but it is HUGE. I LOVE it :)

Here is
what the Cantina looked like Friday at closing. See the bowl
on top? No wonder we had to cut Coke bottles for containers.
All the real ones were stolen - I uh...mean Bprrowed - for diorama
creations :)

Nice...taking
shape Saturday afternoon. The outside walls were attached which
started giving the Cantina it's support and likeness to the film
set.

Some foamcore
pieces fit on top to create a ceiling over the alcoves. We decided
to let the center be open so we could see the figures inside.

Hey there's
Joe again on the right. Believe it or not, this picture was taken
on the Sunday at 11:45 AM. Just 15 minutes before the drawing
and premiere of the diorama. Can the Cantina be completed in
time?
Stay tuned tomorrow and find out...I know, I am so mean to make
you wait another 24 hrs ;P

The calm
after the storm :) After everyone goes home, this is all that
is left of knowing people were actually creating during the day
:) Kinda looks like my basement - LOL.
