So here you can see what a finished Basic Wall will look like. This is a Difficulty 1 Scene that is perfect for the kids, beginners or just those who don't have more then 1 hour or so to spend at the Workshop.

Now let's start on Accessories. If you look at pictures of the Death Star, the hallways have Oval Columns every couple of feet or so. There are 2 sizes, Big and Regular. Let's start with the Big :)

Take a scrap piece of Foamcore and poke 2 holes 5.5 cm apart.

I stuck a thumbtack into one hole and a pencil in the next. Now trace 3 half circles onto a piece of Foamcore.

After you've cut out your half circles, you should have 3 moon shapes.

For the back support, cut out a piece 15.cm X 5.5cm. Oops that's for the small one LOL. pretend you didn't see this picture yet :)

In order to make the Curved Support for the Decals, I decided it would be easier and less time consuming at the convention to use a heavy black paper cardboard. Cut out a piece 15.5cm X 18cm.

February 13, 2005

Use the Hot Glue gun to attach the cardboard to the 2 half moons. Put the Glue on 1 moon at a time or it will cool too fast and make a mess.

Ah the correct back piece for the BIG tube.

February 13, 2005

Take the back support and attach it with the Hot Glue gun in between the 2 moon shapes. Idealy, I figured out after the fact, that doing this step BEFORE placing the Black Cardboard would be a lot easier. When it comes time for the Making of section, I will be putting the steps in the correct order.

Print out a BIG tube decal and cut out along the edges.
