I know Christmas season is over. We bought these
way back in January, but your local craft store may
still keep them in stock.
If not, go to the backyard and find yourself a few

You want to create a + shape.
So measure the center of each twig and Hot Glue them
together at the center. |

The glue holds it well but we want to doubly secure
the twigs together. We don't want our furry friends
to crash to their deaths now do we?
uh, OK, DON'T answer that LOL
Find some Curly Raffia at your art store. You can
use yarn or string if you prefer. |
