Before you put the bristles on, we discovered it
helps alot to draw lines with a black or brown pen.
Follow the lines to know in what directions to draw
your lines. |

Using a pen really simulates MORE bristles under
the real ones and gives a much fuller effect to the
final Hutt. |

Another thing we discovered making the small versions
is that if you break the perfect cut of the template...

... it creates a much nicer background to apply the
bristles. And will even cause the paper to dissapear
once the roof is complete.
If you don't have an Xacto blade, you can use scissors
to create uneaven edges. |

Now apply some Hot Glue oo your bristle bunch where
you put the knot with the yarn.
Start from the center of the template and move towards
the right side. |

Attach one at a time until you get to the end and
slowly angle your pieces as you secure each bunch. |

Once the right side is done, go back to the center
and move your way to the left side.
The green lines show you how the angles slowly change
as you move outwards. |

For the LAST bunch, you want to put some Hot Glue
along the edge of the template ... |

... and press down on the end of the bristles, not
only where the yarn knot is located like on the other
bunches.
Watch out NOT TO BURN YOUR FINGERS :) |

Turn the template upside down when you are done and
start folding back the flaps. |
