If you made a tree then you will be familiar with
this part already :)
Wrap some wire rope around your BIG TREE template.
Make sure to overlap the wires so that you can secure
the two ends together later. |

Ah look... it's already later :) LOL.
Use your hot glue to secure the two ends together. |

Keep your fingers pressing down on the wire for a
minute or two until the glue cools down. |

Now repeat the first step and wrap a new piece of
wire rope on the outer ring of the template. |

Again, a drip of hot glue will keep those two ends
all tied together. |

Now we want to have our bamboo rods to stick out
about TWO inches from the templates outer edge. |

The trick to this platform is to build geometrically
- is that a word? :P
Start by placing FOUR bamboo rods in a cross formation
BUT NOT TOUCHING in the center.
Use your Hot Glue to secure the pieces to the wires.
NOT THE BASE ! that would be BAD :) |

Now start placing some rods like if you were making
a clock. 1,2,3,4,5 oclock etc... you get the picture.
Secure these rods using your Hot Glue .
Then work yourself inside each remaining gap until
all are filled. |

After a few 4 or 5 hours your base should look like
this.
If you look closely you will see that not ALL rods
reach the complete inside of the center. |
|
 |
 |
|

Flip the base over and Hot Glue a 3rd wire rope circle
close to the center edge.
See the yellow arrows. |
