WOW, I didn't know my relatives were visiting Los Angeles this weekend !!! :) Now I must admit that I was VERY VERY did I say VERY Jealous of these AMAZING life like costumes. How many kids can say their dad made them such a cool outfit. I wanted to bring them home with me to put in my loft next to Han Solo Carbonite, but Mom wasn't to thrilled with the idea LOL.

Not only were there Ewoks in the house but my very good friend Nina was in town signing autographs on the other side of the Fan Hall wall. I just had to come and snap a picture of her at her booth. Nina was working at ILM during Episode 3 when George added the scene where the Jedi's get wiped out. Nina was at the right place right time (since the Jedi Council actress was not available for pick up shots) to get herself killed on the speeder bike ;p

Back at the Diorama Workshop, Jamie works his magic recreating key moments from the film like when the biker scout gets his head caught in the Ewok rope trap.

On the other side of the table John was very busy connecting all the tracks together to get the speeder chase underway. When doing the tests on his living room floor, we totaly forgot about the mulch and how it would add a huge WOBBLE effect to the trains. It took a long time to get everything level.

Now that the train tracks were in place, we could push in another row of tables towards the center. We had to limit the depth on the side in case the trains tipped over. You don't want to not be able to reach in and place them back on the track.
