| Every summer I go see Disney
animation. No, not just because I work in movie fx, because
I am very impressed with their visuals and quality of the
animation.
I must sadly say that Atlantis BORED me. I hated the drawing
style of the characters. Not one of them had me hooked. The
story seemed to take forever. This was nowhere as impressive
as Aladdin or Hercules or Mulan. Maybe it's because there
were no songs in the movie. Maybe Disney needs to take a break.
I know I won't be adding this movie to my DVD collection
when it comes out at Xmas. Do yourself a HUGE favor and go
rent Titan A.E. instead. A much better movie that better captured
the use of 3D and 2D animation. Plus Titan is a way better
story. Sorry Disney but this is no Lion King.
