RATING

It's always fun to go see the first special effects movie of the year. :) and my first ever movie in San Francisco.

I did not know anything from this comic book character so I came to the film with a fresh open mind. Many of my friends didn't want to go because they hate Nic Cage, LOL, but I actually think hes not that bad. He is a Copolla after all ;p

The basis of the film is a deal made with the devil in order to save his father from a painfull death from cancer. Unfortunately the devil doesn't tell you he's gonna save your dad, there are other ways to die :) So Cage's soul belongs to the devil and he becomes the Ghost Rider at night to fight crime.

The film has a little bit of Lost Boys feel with a good blend of comedy and cool special effects without going too corny. I loved how the 4 villains each controled an element from earth, like water, fire, wind, very very cool. Great visual effects. I will surely buy this for a few extra viewings when it comes out on dvd later this summer.

If you liked Daredevil, its pretty much the same quality. A good saturday afternoon popcorn movie.

What Did You Think ?

Big Screen must see

Wait for the DVD
