Where does one start with a Pixar film :D

I wanted to go see this on opening night but was stuck working - hmmm, so what else is new LOL. I did manage to take some time off wednesday night to go see Pixar's latest Masterpiece. I was surprised to see only 6 people in the cinema when we entered. It filled to about 100 when the movie started, I guess everyone went last friday :p I miss the early days before multi plexes when the movies would still have 2 hour wait in lines even 6 months after the opening weekend. There was an energy at the shows we don't really have anymore :( OK, enough with nostalgia - what did I think of the movie? Boy was it a fun ride. Disney must be freaking out that after Cars (which i can say will be the FIRST pixar film I will not go see - it looks like thomas railroad, strickly for kids, but not as painfull as that dancing lamb - god that lasted forever) Pixar is on their own making a mix of what we are use to and new more adult stories a la Final Fantasy.

The design of the characters and the story arc are far superior to last year's Finding Nemo...I loved all the Ellen scenes but the dentists office scenes bore me. well, not bored, but not as amusing. All the character voices were excellent. Love Holly Hunter and Craig T Nelson. This is definetely a film to see many times just to catch all the jokes that fly by the screen so fast. I loved the homages to Superheroes, James Bond and of course Star Wars. How many of the Trilogy Sound Effects did you recognise? :) The most obvious being the Speeder Bike sounds during the Jungle Chase. Man that was just too funny. Dash is a great character and hey, forget Mace Windu...FROZONE is DA MAN !!! LOL. what a great superpower to toss water and glide on it to move around.

Oh here is a question...Am I the only one who thought the villain Syndrome looks like Mark Hammil ? check out his recent interviews and see a resemblance. Well I think so anyway LOL. Speaking of Mark = Star Wars = Episode 3 = Lava :P Seeing the Mr Incredible fight with the Robot in the Lava Cave sure gives us a MAJOR ITCH to see Vader's Fall doesn't it :D that was COOL.

Favourite scenes...Mr incredible saving the cat LOL. Mrs Incredible stuck in between the multiple doors in Syndrome's lair LOL. Mr Incredible lava battle, Final battle in the street. It gives me goosebumps thinking what Fantastic 4 will look like in live action :p WOO HOO.

By the way...there are very cool toys made for the Incredibles and some McDonalds figures as well. Make sure to add them to your toy collection. I'm headed to the toy store and catch The Incredibles again :) I will add the toys to My Toy Reviews real soon.

Oh...Did I mention this was worth the $13 admission :P AWESOME !!!!
