RATING

This must of been the hottest day of the summer so far. As we left work to go to the movies, Melanie and myself thought we were going to faint, fry on the sidewalk and never get to the theater :) Thank god for air conditioning - heh heh.

I didn;t know what to expect from this movie except that I LOVED the character design and that the 4 teasers, Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid, Alladin and Lion King really made me laugh. I also got the same feeling I did when seeing E.T. and gremlins...I wanted to bring him home ;p

This is a REAL departure for a Disney movie. I was really shocked. I don't know how much a child could get into this. Lilo's parents have been killed in an accident and her teenage sister must take care of her before child protection comes and seperates them into different foster homes. Both Lilo and Stich are very Violent and beat up everthing in their path. Not exactly Snow White.

The visuals and animation are top notch, and I liked the fact that the music was not too much in your face. Seeing Stich dressed up as Elvis is VERY funny. This is far from being a classic like Lion king, but if you enjoy going to Disney movies you should enjoy this film. It sure is WAY better then last years Atlantis (yawn).

What Did You Think ?

Big Screen must see

I liked it too

Wait for the DVD
