RATING

First thing I noticed when the movie started was - WOW - What cool titles. Seeing the names tracked to the New York cityscape was very cool. Then as the movie started I thought if Alfred Hitchcock was alive today, he would FREAK at all the amazing camera move posibilities. And this movie sure has it's share. Working in FX myself I know how it's done but I found myself wondering what was real and what was CGI extensions. Very cool.

I was kind of surprised at how quickly the burglars arrived into the story. Not much character development here. But all the actors are very good. Jody Foster is one of my alltime favourite actresses and it's always fun to see her act so normal if you will. Her character reminded me a bit of the one in Contact.

Not much in special effects here except for amazing camera trickery to make Brian De Palma and Martin Scorcese proud :) Has some good laughs and is good entertainment. Is it worth seeing in the theater? Well, it's not a waste of money but you could wait for the DVD this September.
