| First things first - You MUST
STAY DURING THE CREDITS !!! One of the BEST and CUTEST scenes
hapens 2 minutes after credits roll. Only 7 people were left
in the cinema when we saw this scene. TOO FUNNY !!! You can
leave after Donkey says goodbye. There aren't any more surprises
after this one.
OK, I guess you are wondering...Is it better then Shrek ?
In my opinion...NO. Is it worth your ticket admission...Absolutely
YES. and it's a good thing too, because the lady in front
of us was wearing I swear...her ENTIRE perfume bottle. God
it stank so much, I felt like I was in a department store.
Unplug your nose next time lady LOL.
Shrek, Fiona and Donkey return for the sequel and are joined
by new characters, Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, Fiona's
parents and the scene stealing Puss N Boots. I sure hope they
will make a plush version of Puss in his sad face expression.
Too Cute and Too funny LOL. Antonio banderas does a great
job. When I buy the DVD I will be rewinding the Hairball cough
over and over LOL.
The magic and awe of Shrek's visuals don't apply as much
in this movie. At least not to me or my friend Genevieve.
Not to say that the animation isn't amazing. It's just that
Shrek was such a groundbreaker in animation style and visual
quality. Part of that magic has dissapeared. It still is at
times extremely beautiful and you will find yourself laughing
a lot. If you are a movie buff even more so with all the jokes
refering to common scenes such as Flashdance, Ghostbusters,
Spiderman, Mission Impossible, Beauty and the Beast...too
many to remember. One of the all time best is the parody of
COPS. You will just pee in your pants when you see that scene
:D
Oh oh...and Pinocchio. He must have the best cameo in the
movie :) Make sure to check his wardrobe during the breakout
LOL.
With The World After Tomorrow coming up soon, the Summer
Movie season is in full swing. If you have time to catch only
ONE film this weekend, make sure it's Shrek 2 and NOT Troy.
You'll thank me later :P
Well worth seeing, especially if you are a fan of the original.
And definetaly on my Christmas DVD list.
