Illusive Han Solo In Carbonite April 1997

This item was way out of my range - close to $2000 (crappy canadian exchange, taxes and customs)
But who can resist having a lifesize Han in Carbonite? I KNEW I just HAD to have him.
Lucky for me, a show I was doing the opening fx went WAY over budget and because of it's airtime,
I had to work a 32 hour shift which paid me the total amount of the prop in overtime !

I've read about some people complaining of the low quality for the high price and returning him.
There are indeed imperfections, but when compared to the actual film prop it is exactly the same
His size alone (7 feet) makes it just too cool not to own - I have absolutely NO regrets.

Yoda's Illusive's Maquettes was the first item that got me hooked into high end collectibles.
Their high quality and reasonable prices were affordable (until the Rancor that is)
Why does a company jump from $200 price range one year to $700 the year after? Beats me!

Illusive has lost their star wars licence and no longer produces Maquettes :(
