Foamcore box. Wire mesh for sand dune is covered in plaster
bandages. Once dried, 1 coat plaster of paris painted on with
brush. Tan ocre paint covers plastered area. Once dry, I apply
white glue and sprinkle sawdust to cover entire surfasce.
Sail Barge made of foamcore and cardboard. Sarlaac Beast was
sculpted in Super Sculpey as well as the tentacles. Finally
the pit itself was created using Plaster of Paris poured into
model train "rock" molds available at all hobby
stores. |
