Blastshield training Sneak Preview

I usually post these on Mondays but wanted to finish the ceiling details before showing you guys what I was up to this weekend. I got a basic paint coat and started work on details. Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians

I LOVE an extra day off of work - Woo hoo ! I have been having a lot of fun this weekend - well sculpting and painting 150 cushions wasn't that fun actually - LOL, but putting it all together was fun indeed. I usually show pictures Monday but since I have an extra day to continue working on it, I thought I would wait till tomorrow. Make sure to drop by tomorrow, The Falcon is looking good...you won't believe your eyes :)

AMAZING RACE on Tataouine :)

Anyone catch the Amazing Race last night on TV? This week they were in the Tunisia Desert and had to search for a clue in the Slave Quarters of Mos Espa. It was really funny and cool to see. The town looked just like it did in the film! A great vacation that would be :)

Blastshield training Sneak Preview

I am happy to say that the main hangar area is almost complete :) I assembled the last of the pillows to the hallway and got the detail wiring finished in the main room. There are a total of 25 New Blastshield Training pictures today in Niubniub's Sneak Previews Section.

3 faces of Dagobah vader

I got an email from Michael Contreras telling me about a feature I did not know about in the Dagobah Darth Vader Figure. I knew that his face plate was removable but did you know you can remove his head as well? This is really a cool feature - hats off to Hasbro for including an extra little secret!!! and thank you so much Michael for letting me know. Was I the only one who is surprised by this? I'd love to see how many of you knew about this feature.

OCTOBER 16, 2001 - TUESDAY

As if you didn't know :) Episode 1 DVD Today !!!

I am pleased to be among the 1 trillionth site on the net to mention the release of the Star Wars Episode 1 DVD today. I am gonna go get my copy during my lunch break. I have a feeling many of you will be doing the same thing.

Personally I am more excited about the 2nd disc and the Lucas Commentary then the movie itself. These alone will be worth the price of the DVD. The Pod Race will be awesome in 5.1 Digital :) I will give you my review after I watch the entire thing. I also got a hold of The Phantom Menace VHS (I know YUK VHS - LOL). So I will be able to make a comparison between the 2 versions. Is it really a big improvement like they said on the net? I can't wait to find out.

I have been working overtime this week which is not fun, especially when trying to find time to prepare and show you all the cool pictures I have in store. Thanks to my great friend Brent McCracken, I received yesterday the 3 latest figures to hit store shelves. NEW Movie Maniacs Wave 4 Figures Reviews

I was very happy to find this weekend, the newest in McFarlane's Ultra Cool Movie Maniacs line. I didn't get all the figures (Blair witch - PooPoo Yuk - LOL) just the selected ones from the movies I love, including the NEW Terminator figures!!! Like the many millions of you who own a DVD player, I too watched Star Wars Episode 1 DVD this weekend :) Was it worth the price? Of course, we all know that! New Visitors Dioramas

You know how excited I get when I receive pictures of a diorama that I have not yet made myself. Well today is our lucky day - Hee hee. Eric B. Plummer sent me some really great pictures of his Tantive IV Diorama. This is sooo cool, I have got to make my own after I finish the Falcon! Halloween Weekend - Niubniub is tired - LOL

I really love Halloween, last week I was busy making my costume so I didn't have time to work on the falcon. I promise I will double my efforts for next week :) We had our office party Saturday and everyone was freaked out at my Carrie costume - heh heh heh. I even won first prize!!! That was a great surprise. I know you are just DYING to see how I disguised myself so I made a little photo just for you :) Let me know how you dressed up.
