Now peel them back and place the center of the Decal
along the edge of the Door. |
February 13, 2005
Bend on side of the decal onto the surface of the
door.
Be sure to press down all over the decal or you will
end up with a bubble on the corners like I did here
(oops) LOL. |
February 13, 2005
Don't worry if the door decla doesn't fit perfectly
inside the triangle. |
February 13, 2005
All you need to do is get your ruler and Xacto Pen
and slice off the excess. |
February 13, 2005
You now will have a perfect Door corner :) |
February 13, 2005
Repeat the same process for the remaining 5 doors. |
February 13, 2005
You also need to find 6 little scraps of foamcore
about 1 cm wide. |
February 13, 2005
Take your Blast Door frame and grab one of the cut
rectangles. |
February 13, 2005
Glue the 2 pieces together using your Hot Glue gun.
Repeat this step once more with the other frame and
rectangle. |
February 13, 2005
Now grab a regular frame and rectangle piece. |
February 13, 2005
just as you did with the Front Frames, glue the 2
pieces together.
Repeat again to have 2 similar pieces. |
February 13, 2005
You should now have 4 Blast Door pieces, 2 foamcore
thickness. |
February 13, 2005
Take your Xacto and carefully, with a NEW blade (to
make smooth edges) follow the top layer as a guide.
For the rounded corners, you might want to switch
to the PEN Xacto knives with the pointy triangle blades.
Watch your fingers !!! |
February 13, 2005
After several minutes, you now have your fron Blast
Door frame completed. |
February 13, 2005
Do the same for the regular frames. these are a little
easier since there are no round edges. |
