Once the Hot Glue cools off your wall unit is complete...

March 13, 2005

... well almost :)

Doesn't this look cool? Do you recognise it now?

If you poke a hole out into the Computer Outlet with a nail, Your R2 Datalink should fit right into it.

If you watch the movie, there are some sort of ventilation tubing that goes all the way around the Docking Bay.

You need to cut out 2 pieces measuring 66cm X 6cm and 2 pieces measuring 66cm X 5cm

March 19, 2005

Print out your ventilation decals. You will need 5 windows for this section.

March 19, 2005

Apply each decal to the 6cm foamcore strip. NOT the 5cm one.

March 19, 2005

Continue untill all 5 cover the foamcore rectangle.

Notice that one of the vents rests against the LEFT side and that 4 rest against the RIGHT side.

March 19, 2005

Take your Xacto Blade and slowly - and CAREFULLY - cut out along the embossed edges of the Decal.

March 19, 2005

Continue all the way around until you can remove the center core.

March 19, 2005

Now repeat the same procedure on all 5 pieces. This is tedious but TAKE YOUR TIME to avoid injury.

After about 30 minutes your front ventilation wall is done.

March 19, 2005

Use the Hot Glue to attach one of the 5cm strips to the Bottom edge of the Front Ventilation.
