Place your T Braces in the corners of your floor.

Make sure you Hot Glue on the UNDERSIDE of your Floor ;p

April 03, 2005

4 T's should be enough, combined with the Elevator Base, to prevent the floor from caving in from the weight of the Millenium Falcon.

April 03, 2005

Flip the floor around and we are ready for the floor polish.

April 03, 2005

This is accomplished by covering the entire surface with MacTac AKA D-C-FIX.

It is a vinyl plastic roll used mostly for inside your kitchen cuboards and sold in many UGLY patterns LOL.

The GLOSS BLACK however looks EXACTLY like the movie set.

April 03, 2005

Press down on the D-C-Fix Vinyl to find out where your Elevator walls are located.

April 03, 2005

Then use an X-Acto knife to slowly cut through the CENTER of the Elevator membrane.

April 03, 2005

Now find 2 corners (I placed yellow dots to better show you) and CUT TOWARDS the CENTER Slit to create a PIZZA SLICE type of shape.

April 03, 2005

Pull the slice TIGHT towards the Bottom so that you don't create Air Bubbles on the corners.

April 03, 2005

Your Elevator should now look like this.

April 03, 2005

Turn the floor upside down and TRIM OFF the Excess D-C-Fix Vinyl using a Sharp X-Acto Knife.
