Time for the lights to go up. First I lined the boxes with tin foil to help reflect the light.

For the colored lights, I cut small pieces of colored plastic and glued them to the top of the plastic tubes.

I tried colored lights but they were not as bright as white, so this works better.

I took out a string of miniature Christmas tree lights (at this time of year, you can get them cheap on liquidation) and placed them over each hole.

For the boxes I used 3 lights since they are a bigger space.

You cannot see in the picture,

but i used masking tape to hold the wire in place.

Better then Hot Glue in case one day I decide to remove the lights, it will be easier and not rip the foamcore to shreds.

I covered the top lights with tin foild to help brighten up the plastic as much as possible.

In this picture you can better see the masking tape that holds everything in place.

Tada...Like magic we have colored lights.

Of course these are not strong enough to light the entire falcon, it's more for decoration and detail.

To the naked eye, it looks totally awesome but I need an extra source of light to take pictures.

All that's missing now is furniture...

Did somebody call IKEA? LOL

All the accessories in place really make the difference don't you think?

Well after 4 months... WOW

I can't believe it took that long (I know overtime did not help ;P)

All we need now is some figures to come visit :) Hey where's the cockpit? LOL

And our figures couldn't wait to jump in and find their places :)
