Took me some time to figure out the shape of the
desktop. I think I have it down pretty close. The
measurements are a bit hard to descripe so I traced
the shape and will put it very soon in the Blueprints
Section. You can just print and cut out the outline. |

For the support of the desk I started with a simple
rectangle. I measured half a cm on each side and made
a cutting line to the bottom corners. |

Chop chop with the Xacto knife. Nothing complicated
here. |

I then traced the shape to another foamcore and cut
a copy. Then I traced 3 lines from the edges using
a piece of foamcore's thickness. This is for the inside
braces. |

Once cut, I decided i could trim a little more from
the bottom to leave room for the 2nd support strips.
More on that later...These are your 2 guides. You
need 2 pieces of the BIG support and 3 pieces of the
inner SMALL supports. |

Using the Hot Glue Gun I attached the BIG supports
to each end on the table bottom (A & B) I used
a pencil and ruler to make an inner circle guide for
the SMALL pieces (1,2,3) and then glued them. |

Now it's time for the front support panel. Looks
like a simple curved angular piece, but it took me
7 tries to get it just the right shape. I have also
traced this and will have the Blueprint ready soon.
Since I will be painting the desk, i did not care
if I used a new piece of foamcore. |

After cutting the inner side with my Xacto, so that
the foamcore could bend (I'm sure you know the technique
by now, heh heh) I used Hot Glue on each ends and
held the piece in place tightly against the side panels.
Once secure, I used the Hot Glue on each center support
for extra strength. |

This is what the front panel looks like from the
front. |

Now for the back panel. Again a simple (ha!!!) curved
piece is cut on one side. make sure not to cut all
the way through. You just want to create grooves so
that it can bend. |

And here you have the backend secured into place.
(red arrows) Use the Hot Glue against the center spines
to make sure the desk doesn't fall apart 2 months
from now :) |

If you look at the reference pictures, the desk support
has 2 levels. I cut these 2 small pieces to fit inside
the front panels strucure. |

Half the piece fits inside leaving 1 cm exposed.
I used Hot Glue to secure them in place. |

Oh yeah, i forgot the base support is angled, so
cut a tiny nick on each corner at the same angle as
the main support. I hope you understand what I mean. |

Cut 2 strips of foamcore and slice them up at every
cm or so. This will be the 2nd base support. |
