This is the easiest of the Sitting Jedi since all
we need to do is give him bendable knees.
If you have extra articulated legs, you could switch
those instead and same you a little bit of trouble.
Since I had none I had to amputate pook Ki Adi Mundi
:) I cut his legs off at the knees and cut his arms
off as they needed to be more raised to reach the
Armrests. |

Also to make him sit better I cut off the hood from
his back and sliced a bit of his butt off as well
:)
Be VERY CAREFULL when cutting these pieces. The
plastic is hard and takes a LOT of pressure to cut.
*** WARNING ***
DO NOT chop off your finger. Apart from the extreme
pain, It might turn you off from making more dioramas
:) |

I started by using my Hot Glue Gun and attaching
the Lower Legs to his Upper Legs.
It doesn't matter if his knees have gaps and look
really ugly, we will fill those up later. |

Now I used my hot Glue Gun again to attach his arms
in the correct angle so that they would reach both
sides of the Armrest.
I also wasn't happy with the height of his Left Leg
so I added a piece of Super Sculpy to raise it since
I had chopped off to much plastic. |

Now for the final step, and quite easy, just take
small amounts of Super Sculpy and fill in the holes
and cracks at the knees and shoulders.
Use your tools to create little folds so that it
doesn't just look like blobs of Sculpy :D
When you are happy with the results, take your hair
dryer and harden the Sculpey for 1-2 minutes. |
|
 |
Always make
sure to wave it back and forth. If you stay too long on
the smae area, you might melt the figure. Not a good thing
:P

Get your Acrylic Latex Paint out and repaint the
arms and pants.
You can't even see where the Super Sculpy was added.
I then used some Hot Glue and attached the Top Robe
to the side of each leg so that it would look like
it was draping over instead of sticking out like a
piece of plastic. |

And we have Ki Adi sitting in palpatine's Office.
Looks pretty cool.
And the fun part is that he can be removed from the
chair so that you can place an Un-altered Ki-Adi Standing
up to create different moments from the movie. |
