This is a pretty advanced skill level, I had to redo
this chair 2 times to get it right.
It's a good chalenge and you will be happy when you
get yours done.
Start with a strip of Super Sculpey. Aprox 3cm wide
X 9cm long |

Fold it near the base, this is the skeleton of the
chair and where Palpatine will sit. |

I used the Jedi Duel Cinema Scene Palpatine to guide
me through the measurements.
So I bent the rectangle along his butt and then used
my dryer to harden the Super Sculpey. |

Next is to make a similar shape as before, aproximately
.5cm thick, 2cm wide and 9cm long. |
|

Take your strip, place it at the chair back's base
and wrap towards the front of the chair (the direction
of the blue arrows) |

It now kind of looks like a regular chair.
If only Palpatine would have used this like us common
folk it would have been so much easier - LOL.
DO NOT HARDEN YET. |

We must do some trimming first to get the same angles
as in the pictures.
I must say I also had the Cinema Scene palpatine
Throne next to me to compare angles.
First, cut the front armrests at 45' angle as seen
with the blue arrow.
|
|
 |
The little blue
triangle is the piece that you cut off. Repeat the same
for the other side.

Now turn the chair to its bottom and chop off 45'
angle on each corner.
Follow the blue arrows as a guide, you also want
to cut another 45' angle horizontaly from one end
to the other. |

Here is a better picture of the horizontal cut. Another
45' angle from left to right corner. |

Now roll a snake of Super Sculpey (the U shape is
just to fit in frame) aprox 1cm wide. |
