ILM: ART OF SFX
This book came out over 10 years ago and for any Star Wars and lucasfilm movie lover is a MUST have!!! And I am not saying this because I want to work at ILM either :) A huge book and worth every penny. There are amazing photos in here of set pictures and movie stills.

STAR WARS CHRONICLES
THE BIBLE of ALL Star Wars books, if you don't have this amazing book, you MUST get it NOW!!! It's like a personal visit to the Lucasfilm Archives. Detailed, I mean Excessive Details of every ship, alien, location, set, EVERYTHING!!!! If you can't find what you are looking for elsewhere, it will be in this book. Simply the best!!!

ILM: INTO DIGITAL SFX
A sequel of sorts to ILM's first book, this covers the efforts of ILM's computer advancements starting with Willow, and jurassic Park and on to Special Editions of Star Wars trilogy. Another Must Own book full of cool usefull material.

ACTION FIGURE ARCHIVES
Steve Sansweet's materpiece. If you are into Star Wars action figure collection - what a stupid question I know LOL - You OWE yourself to get this book. Detailed descriptions and pictures from all angles of everysingle action figure made plus has cool comparison pics with actual movie pics which are unique and oh so usefull in making a diorama.

FROM STAR WARS TO INDIANA JONES
This was the first Lucasfilm Archive book and covers both Star Wars Trilogy as well as Indiana Jones trilogy. Cool stories and pictures from artifacts and creature and model shops. A unique selection of source material.

ART OF EPISODE 1
The Art of Episode 1 has amazing work in it. There are no actual movie pictures, only illustrations only can be found inside. but you do sometimes find angles and renderings beyond what you see in the film sets. A good companion to actual movie picture references.

Bought in 1977, my books binding is crumbling to dust LOL, but inside are cool illustrations and behind the scenes pics always usefull for diorama references. A very good adition to your collection. Was re-released with Special Edition material.

ART OF EMPIRE
The Art of Empire Strikes back is not better off in condition :) the first printing from 1980 it's also falling apart - LOL. Amazing pictures and actual matte paintings. this book helped me a lot in making the textures and design of vader's Secret Diorama.

The Art of Return of The Jedi is as impressive as the others in the series. Even includes the script. many illustrations, pictures and behind the scenes look at sets and creatures. Very usefull reference.

EP. 1 VISUAL DICTIONARY
This is one cool book. looks like a kids book but actually has huge clear pictures of all characters and creatures and vehicles and sets from the movie. Very very usefull for details.

CLASSIC VISUAL DICTIONARY
This Visual Dictionary was the first released and was a great help in making my lifesize R2-D2. Great large size pics of all the characters, droids, aliens and movie sets. very cool indeed.

A very nice book, the making of Episode 1 is large paperback format and full of movie stills and behind the scenes pictures including ILM's model shop miniatures used in the film.

STAR WARS ALBUM
This was my second fave book as a kid. Full of making of behind the scenes pictures, way before video and dvd remember :). I have used this book extensively making my dioramas.

MAGIC OF MYTH EXIBITION
A companion to the touring exibit of the same name, it has more a history of how Star Wars fits in our culture but has some terrific pictures of costumes and models. no so much in movie stills.
