This is one of the cool scenes from Episode 1 and David captures it very well. The Photoshop textures were made by Eric Osborne, his 8 year ol nephew. They really bring the scene to life. Great Job!
Looking at this makes me want to make my own as soon as I find free time.

These are very good and some materials I would have not thought of using until now :)

David says his diorama is made out of Wood for Base, Plastic Bowl for Pit, Brush Bristles for Teeth,
Rubber Snakes for Tentacles, Spray Foam for Tezture (called Great Stuff),
Rock Hard Water Putty to fill in areas and make textures, Spray Texture Paint to make the Sand Texture,
and regular Spray & Brush Paints for Color. Plus a Little Imagination and LOVE of Star Wars.
